you can gain experience quickly as well as marketability.

Cons

you must have thick skin to with stand the micro managing. Too many chiefs and not enough Indians. Paper work and policy monster blocks most of your projects. either partners have different standards or inter office policies are different. No advancement unless you move to Meade.

Pros

Excellent programs with a wide variety of experts on staff. Exposure to new technology as well as legacy equipment. Great place to build a career.

Cons

Company does some things in old fashion manner in my opinion. I think that there needs to be a "changing of the guards" at several high level positions to possibly change the direction of the company.

Pros

Casual environment, fitness room in building is nice to have. Asian restaurant is also a nice bonus.

Cons

It is definitely a woman's world there. About 60-70% of the workforce is women. The emphasis is on hiring and promoting students from the colleges in the St. Louis area....mostly female. Being a Veteran means absolutely nothing! Nepotism is big here as well. A lot of the employees live in the local area and specifically Clinton County Illinois. There is a BIG Clinton County Good Ol' Boy/Good Ol Girl network there. Bottom line...if you aren't one of the students or a part of the Clinton county gang, you may be able to get in the door....but you won't move up.
