      Pros

      Name recognition in the market when you go to leave. Deloitte hires smart capable people. Pockets of people who don't let their egos get the better of them, you just have to find them.

      Cons

      If you are comfortable being the steps (literally) to other's success it may be the right place for you. This type of environment does not foster teamwork and collaboration, more like a me mentality. I heard one manager refer to himself as a hard-on and he was proud of that. Those people keep on moving while leadership looks the other way.

      THEY OVERHIRE AND THEN LAY OFF EMPLOYEES WITH NO NOTICE

      Pros

      - A well-known brand due to the marketing

      Cons

      - Overhire and then have people sit on the bench waiting for a project- only a few projects available while there are 500+ employees on the bench. Sitting on the bench affects your performance and utilization percentage which in turn affects whether you receive raises/bonuses/awards - It's all about who you know and sucking up to leadership to move up or find projects - They will terminate/lay you off out of nowhere and do not allow for any type of discussion
