      Pros

      Quite flexible if you’re running your own projects (meaning you can leave at 6pm and continue working from home until 2am instead of staying at the office if you’d like)

      Cons

      Easily the most toxic work culture I’ve ever experienced. Partners and principals are mainly white men and many are low-key sexist / racist. Very few actually care about their people’s well-being or development, and the few good eggs all ended up leaving once they realized they couldn’t change much. I took a big, BIG pay cut when I left and I haven’t regretted leaving once.

      Pros

      Exposure to Fortune 500 companies and their environments, which will help build your experience. Good pay

      Cons

      Extremely political company culture. Very toxic and hostile environment (It depends on which practice you land in the firm). Your promotion and progress depends on whom do you know and how high are your connections rather than the work you have done. Pay is good but the psychological baggage is definitely not worth it.

      Pros

      For a starter lot of learning opportunities. If you are lucky to get into a big project, mostly their clients are all big. They give a yearly gym reimbursement or health related items up-to 1000$ a year. If u can bargain can manage good package

      Cons

      Experienced folks who are in technology, it’s totally useless place join, specially the CBO group and the Quality Engineering offering. You will not learn anything new except few PPT slides which does not make any sense. Most of the old folks just useless and no technical skill sets. They are not at all aware of latest digital tech stack. Hardly they are getting good projects. Firm initiative work is another useless thing. The coaches are just for the name sake If you can manage some god father figure , you are safe. These guys are very famous for laying off . Being a private company many news do not come out. ITS NOT AT ALL A IT COMPANY. Even other IT companies are much better than Deloitte. Internally it operates as startup company. Advice to management: please try to protect new comers.
