Pros

Good pay Good People Good luck Only other good thing I can say is at least I’m not alone in think this place is getting worse and worse. Everyone life is different so YMMV.

Cons

Laundry list of cons including horrible management, schedule change that takes away your life and just the crap that delta gets away with and never communicates with us as a group is childish. Every day I go into work it’s like “what has gone wrong now” or “are we working weekends again?”

Pros

Collaboration and teamwork. Open door policy and the company really tries to over-communicate and make everyone feel a part of the team. Quarterly Town Hall meetings which allows open questions. President , VP of HR and entire Executive Staff is willing to meet individually with anyone and be open and interactive on concerns or questions. Decision making process is generally always thru consensus process rather than top down mandates. Financially stable and solid in that area of decision making. Great facility including cafeteria. Benefits and compensation competitive (profit sharing, bonus, salary, etc). Excellent work/life balance.

Cons

Delta is a part of larger Masco parent company so sometimes impacted by things outside of our operating company control. Some opportunities for promotions and career advancement but Delta is a smaller company and great place to work so not much turnover. This can obviously lead to not as much opportunity for career change as in a larger organization.

Pros

I have worked in the HR department at one of the company's manufacturing facilities for about 6 months. I don't want to seem like I'm falsely promotion the company, but I have spent time in many factories before and by comparison this plant is SO MUCH better than others. Better pay, better benefits, better environment, better coworkers, better management. I have seen very few things that would negatively impact my view of the company in my first six months. Pros? -Interview process was thorough, but it never felt like a time waste. -GREAT culture. Open doors, collaboration, teamwork. -The orientation for new hires was informal but informative, and really set the tone for my career here. -The company puts profits back into its employees (both hourly and salary) - compensation, scholarships, education assistance, training, etc. -The factory floor is so much better than most. Clean, well maintained, and safe. -People here are honestly great. There is a lot of optimism about the products, the markets, and the company. It makes for a positive atmosphere everywhere you go, from assembly lines to conference rooms, and there are some very talented and high-performing teams here. -Employees here are also very generous. There are many different charitable fundraisers and ways to get involved with community service. -The integrity of Delta Faucet Company and our parent company, Masco Corp, makes it really easy to take pride in where you work. Even if we weren't leaders in our business sector, I would be proud to say I work here. Conducting business ethically and with integrity is one of the first training courses many will receive here, and the culture it creates is very noticeable. -FOOD! I've never seen so much food in my life. Pizza parties, catered training sessions, steak dinners, birthday breakfasts, anniversary lunches, holiday baskets...

Cons

-As with all factories, job security is tied to how the industry is doing. Home improvement is our market, so we are booming currently. -Our plant is open nearly 24/7, so all support departments could work off-shift hours if needed. Pros or cons, depending on your outlook: -Hourly employees will work overtime (including weekends) as needed. -Travel to other plants or HQ in Indianapolis
