Pros

- nice training centers and head office

Cons

- Dont be fooled by the product allowance, only kicks in after 3 months, - extremely un achievable KPIS - Finance Manager, spoke to you like a child on the first day, when it was her wrong doing in the first place - disorganised and things were all over the place - extremely unwelcoming staff, team is not at all integrated, staff always said they were ready to help, but when asked a question they were passive aggressive in their answers. -micromanaging, sharing calendars, weekly meetings to "check in", messaging and calling to see how the day is going, to really keep a track on what you are doing. - no autonomy or ability to go off and be creativity, everything is structured and has to go by the book. - too much product, and double of of things, launching products, just to launch, not investing into things that are working. - clients are not engaging with the company, nor their stockists, nor their consumers. - lots of long term staff, no option for progression or movement being able to made.

Bad and Lazy HR and Management

Pros

Welcoming team members, lunch area, and office are nice.

Cons

HR is an absolute joke. It took over 3 months from the time I applied to my start date, despite the team I was joining being "swamped", yet there was no sense of urgency from my recruiter. I was told that people were invested in my growth, and I received nothing but positive feedback about the quality and timeliness of my work. When I asked for a raise or a full-time position, I was let go. My position was posted the very next day with the exact same job description and pay from when I applied almost a year prior. The recruiter said verbatim, "Dermalogica is not the place to get paid". Additionally, I was writing a white paper for the company. They told me I wouldn't be a named author, and when I pushed back, they just said they wouldn't publish it altogether. The pay is not good for LA nor the industry, and they are losing talent as a result.
