It was great until it wasn't

Pros

I enjoyed working with some of my colleagues and sharing ideas. We had a very good, experienced team. My MD was fantastic and taught me so much. He wasn't a micro manager and let me be successful by doing my own thing and doing things my own way.

Cons

Once DISYS took on many (99%) of Signature's ways, it changed so drastically and not for the better. They began a program where they'd hire recent college grads, pay them very little, and expect them to become experts in the IT Staffing industry in a VERY short length of time. The program was very stressful to most and the majority failed and were fired. Once the company transitioned and became Dexian, they started firing directors and replacing with very young people who had been with the company 1-3 years and had no managerial experience. I left the company because the environment was very unhealthy and TBH, borderline abusive.

Pros

Competitive hourly rates Variety of clients

Cons

The recruiter you will work with will focus on getting you assigned, and keeping you in the assignment through various niceties like how are things? text messages. However, if you are on an assignment that's not working out, do not expect help, as it's not in their financial interest. My experience: I reported a problematic client in December 2024, predicting that it wasn't going to work out. I followed this up every other week with examples and pleas for help. Help never came, and then my prediction came true and I was terminated. Consulting is hard enough, but not having someone in your corner when you need them is the worst. Avoid this company.

Pros

- Team members you work with

Cons

This company is in a lot of trouble. Gone through a couple CFO's already, just losing another one recently as he even knew this company won't be able to stay afloat much longer. Already gone through 2nd round of layoffs and rumored 3rd round by end of the year. They will do anything to trim, cut, and save money. C-Suite needs to be cleaned out. No idea what they are doing. Training program is a joke and only focused on KPI's not results. Also this company has low bases for Recruiters and AM's in the industry compared to competitors. Many people like myself are getting proactive and hunting for a new job. Please if your just getting out of college and your sold the 3 years for $310 BS - Run, Run, Run. It's a trap.
