Pros

I worked at Dickson full time for two years. It was an excellent company to work for. From management on down, the people are what makes Dickson great. The company provides ongoing training and invests in their employees. Although it is a smaller company there are advancement opportunities. Management has an open door policy and welcomes any new ideas. Good pay and good hours.

Cons

Still some bugs to be worked out with the phone system and CRM program.

Excellent Sales Training

Pros

Dickson subscribes to the CustomerCentric Selling approach. Training is provided both during onboarding and continuously. They connect members of the sales force to Coaches, who are like consultants in the sales process. They help you effectively navigate your opportunities through the pipeline. If you are new to sales, they give you the tools you need to be successful. It is a positive and friendly work environment. There are no "bad eggs" here.

Cons

While implementing the CustomerCentric Sales process, they made changes to compensation that affected income in the short term. However, for long-term it allowed us to focus more on opportunities rather than transactions, which has a bigger payoff. It made business-sense, but was frustrating to have a smaller paycheck for awhile.
