Change is hard but rewarding

Pros

HUGE opportunity to influence the organization as we continue to evolve to be sustainable and future looking. DigiCert is a great organization to join if you are open to innovation and unwilling to accept the status quo of how we previously operated. While DigiCert is not a start-up, there is very much a start-up feel to the company with amount of change and opportunity to influence your department.

Cons

Change is hard and not everyone accepts change at the same pace or is willing to accept change. If you are looking for a role where you can do the same exact thing every day and find success, this is not the company for you.

Dear current DigiCert employee, Thank you for taking the time to provide a Glassdoor review, for giving the company five stars and recommending the company, leadership and business outlook. So much potential!

Pros

- Huge customer base - Technology/Products - Changes being made are the right changes for growth - CEO

Cons

- Lots of changes and everyone is trying to adapt (org changes, messaging, teams, processes, etc.) - "Old way" of doing things could get in the way of progress. There a lot of long tenured people at the company that may not be able to adapt to the change. This includes messaging pitch (from product to use cases/pain points), actual prospecting, how we go to market, team structures and how everyone works together, getting rid of red tape, the need for processes to streamline and make more time for quality work vs busy work.

Dear current DigiCert employee, First, thank you! We appreciate how you have taken the time to provide thoughtful, insightful and thorough feedback about the organization that helps us understand our strengths and growth areas. Second, we are heartened that you give the company five stars and recommend it as well as approve of the CEO and business outlook. We also love that you appreciate the changes our CEO has been making to grow the company. Our leadership is working hard to grow wisely, and we are glad you recognize the efforts. We note your message on the cons, including the many changes and rigidity expressed by some to those and other changes. It can be difficult to adapt, but we are providing leaders and employees with training and tools to support them throughout changes. We are also striving for Amazing Innovation, Relentless Execution and Exceptional Collaboration (three of our four Culture Drivers) to not only improve how we do things but how we support our customers. You bring up a great point about spotlighting customers, and we will look into how we can do more of this. If you have any other suggestions, please don’t hesitate to reach out to us and let us know. Not worth the money

Pros

They had food and a fun break room. Would also take employees out for dinner and lunch.

Cons

They don't pay you well for the work you do. Even the programmers don't get paid a fair amount for the work they do. Even after digicert made lots of money off the pandemic they still paid employees very little. They are having a hard time keeping people for this very reason. Also a toxic workplace that doesn't prioritize the mental health of it's employees.

Dear Former Employee, Thank you for your feedback. In relation to compensation, DigiCert utilizes several industry-leading market reports to ensure that our compensation is competitive in the locations we operate in and for the variety of roles our people hold. We also operate a strong pay-for-performance approach that allows our high performers to gain additional compensation recognition. However, we know that we can always do more for our people and will continue to review our compensation programs. Employee Well-being is a key priority for us, particularly in mental health. We have a number of programs that support our employees in this area such as market-leading health insurances with a strong emphasis on mental wellbeing; an Employee Assistance Program that provides support for our employee and their family members; our Headspace benefit which was introduced recently, paid time off policies to support our people, etc. We would love to hear more about how we could improve the well-being of our employees and would appreciate the opportunity to discuss this with you. Please contact us directly to share your feedback. Best Wishes, People Team
