Low pay for job responsibilities, other departments who specialize in loans or credit cards refused to take direct calls about specific questions the front lines couldnt answer.

Competitive benefits (not including pay, unless you negotiated for a higher pay on your way in) including all federal aka “bank holidays” off

Cons

Since its rapid growth over the last several years, feels like just another corporate machine who treats its employees like they are disposable. It’s no the small credit union that was previously known as being a top notch employer, caring about its individual employees growth and well-being. DCU’s three core principles—People Come First, Do the Right Thing, Make a Difference—are now nothing more than window dressing. They do not live by these words—at least as far as their employees are concerned.

High 401k match 100% up to 7% of your salary No Co-pay for psyc/therapy session Decent Health Insurance Remote Most of the people working there are nice You get 3 weeks of PTO plus holidays and you are required to take 1 week consecutive.

Cons

Its customer service Low starting pay they just upped the starting pay to 20.50 but I started at 18.83 Limited opportunity for growth Too much work for little pay, its not worth the stress and they somewhat micromanage you.
