Pros

The list is lengthy, but here are the highlights: - Fun, creative work environment (the office is converted 1950s gas station!) - Tremendous benefits (including insurance paid in full) - 401k plan featuring generous employer contribution - Plenty of options for advancement - Performance incentives - Ongoing office meetups, events, team-building activities In all, Digital Strike is just a fun place to work, and it's made all the better by the people. Management really cares about all team members, and they walk the walk and do it consistently. No question is ever too dumb, everyone is encouraged to learn and grow, and the team is always exploring new ideas to get the best possible results for each client!

Cons

When I was first hired two years ago, the company lacked a clear framework of internal processes for accomplishing tasks or official documentation to outline values, company structure, etc., but I am currently playing a role in ensuring that both of these issues are resolved in the very near future.

Pros

• Pay is pretty good • Benefits (100% paid insurance, 401k match plus the occasional bonus) • Smart and fun coworkers • It’s a great place to identify exactly what you don’t want in a job or leadership

Cons

• Leadership gives no direction, expectations or structure and expects you to magically know how to do things the “right” way in their eyes, so naturally everyone is set up to fail (and eventually get fired if they don’t like you) • No accountability and an insane amount of turnover. Don’t be fooled by the fake reviews or explanations as to why there's such a big turnover. People leave for a reason. • The owner is extremely inappropriate and a bully. If you’re a young, inexperienced woman - definitely look elsewhere. Literally anywhere else. • Extremely manipulative and controlling environment. Constantly talks behind employees' backs and harasses people they don't like or those that they want to leave.

Toxic, Women avoid

Pros

Worked with a great group of smart coworkers and learned a lot from them.

Cons

The biggest con to working at Digital Strike is the owner and leadership. I left Digital Strike because of the toxic environment the owner created. There are too many experiences I had/witnessed that would never be tolerated at a company with an HR department. If you’re considering working at Digital Strike, I would ask questions about accountability for leadership. If you’re a current employee wondering if the environment and behavior are normal, I can confidently tell you that it’s not. During my time, there was no HR, or board of directors, or shareholders to hold the owner accountable. This is important because without accountability, change never happens. Since my experience, I've come to value what healthy work environments look like -- having boundaries, structure, and leadership who are held accountable. Most of which were not found while I was at Digital Strike. Beyond the inappropriate behavior, there was micromanagement, passive-aggressiveness, and manipulation (bought lunches so we wouldn’t leave/take a break) that stunted the growth and development of employees. I’ve taken my experience to help shape me into being a better teammate and leader. However, if I could go back and change things I would’ve avoided working at Digital Strike altogether. If you’re young and looking for experience - look elsewhere. If you’re seasoned, don’t waste your time. And if you’re a woman, Digital Strike should be avoided.
