      Pros

      Vibes are always great - while it may seem a little casual, it really lends to a feeling of intimacy within the company itself. Everyone takes their work seriously, but there's a fun and collaborative energy to it all. It really makes you feel like the people here care about you, your goals, and your overall success.

      Cons

      Cross-department collaboration and communication could be improved upon; at times it feels like there's not much infrastructure or systems in place when it comes to relaying information consistently. There's a bit of a "ask someone you know in this department" practice that can make things feel like a game of telephone.

      Ownership, speed of execution, interesting projects, and great people with a quirky culture make this place incredible. You can tell that leadership genuinely cares about the people here and raised all salaries across the board 7% to adjust for inflation.

      Pros

      Working at Discord has been the absolute highlight of my career. The onboarding process, although virtual, was engaging and fun. The company truly cares about its people first and makes a conscious effort to ensure everyone can bring their whole selves to work. My favorite pros include: - great benefits, including wellness fund - birthday holiday - diversity, inclusion & purpose efforts - smart, caring colleagues - fun culture - ability to build and bring new ideas; creatively solve challenges

      Cons

      As with any typical startup, unexpected things can pop up resulting in long hours to solve the issue. But everyone rallies around it and you're never in it alone. The teammates are what make this a great place.
