      Pros

      I'm currently working in the Trust & Safety department. I jumped on during a hiring surge, and everyone has been so friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I'm learning and feel at home. - Good pay - Amazing benefits like a "work from home" fund, onboarding personalized pack, week off for summer - Friendly and funny coworkers - Geeky vibes - Lots of interesting topics to learn about in job role itself - Nice tools and workflow to complete job tasks

      Pros

      The executive team cares. Even though the company is going through hypergrowth, it still feels like the executive team cares about the employee's experience and how that directly relates back to the overall employee experience. The company isn't perfect, but I feel proud to work here and really love what the company stands for. The future is bright for Discord. It will still need to evolve and stay ahead of the ongoing challenges but I believe it's moving in a super positive direction!

      Cons

      The work balance has been tricky the last couple of quarters due to the ongoing high growth. We weren't prepared for this and it resulted in a lot of burnout. We're still not fully caught up with this, so the burnout piece is something the leadership needs to keep working on.
