Pros

Store managers can make 6 figures. Insurance is really good and the 401k plan. A couple of good bonuses. Employee assistance fund helps with employees and their family who have a disastrous event or medical issues that would be hard to pay for.

Cons

Horrible amount of hours worked for full-time employees (50-60 hrs on average) who are on salary pay. Raises are very small ($25 a week in my region for the 44 hrs min. work week) you max out your pay very quickly and can go years without any increase for inflation. Full time employees get transferred to different locations a lot and may be expected to drive 70 miles to get to said location (happened to me and then told to quit my b*tching when I said I couldn't afford it). VERY high demand on employees since they can only schedule employee hours based off how many tires they are expecting to sell and are typically short staffed because of it and don't take into accounts all of the rotations, flat repairs, and tire balances you may have. Very high turnover rate and are constantly trying to hire part time technicians because of this. You have to stay after closing to finish every car written up that day which could be 2+ hrs later. You will usually not get a lunch break if you are busy that day and it's 30 minutes if you do actually get one that day. Very cold in the winter and hot in the summer. It takes a toll on the body after working there for a while. Managers give you a hard time if you're sick and need to call in. They preach "brotherhood" but tend to not really care and it almost feels like they do it so much it feels like brainwashing so you'll do what they ask without complaining.

Pros

Only good thing about the job is that they are close Sunday.

Cons

No benefits for the technician, which sucks cause they are the one doing all the work, while management stay in the AC all day chit chatting away getting the big bonuses and benefits. Work you like slaves!! Which it takes a toll on your body. After a while back pains. Knee pain ect. Plus this company really don't take care of there part time employee as they should be. Plus after me being promoted I ask for a raise they told me had to wait, after they told me they where gonna "take care of me and my family"! List goes on word of advice don't work for this company no worth getting hurt and wore out for $11 to $13 an hour.

Pros

Christmas bonus, 2x. that's it.

Cons

where to start. ever since the owner died things have changed. a lot of managers with 10+ yrs, quit. instead of spending millions for recruiting of New ppl, give raises. the only thing that matters is money now. long hours, no family time. I'm a manger and every year i say this is it... now I'm putting my 2 weeks in. horrible company. not what is used to be.
