Pros

The engineering culture is among the best I've ever worked in. The people are smart, fun to work with and passionate about doing the right thing. There are many technical spaces to work in with lots of interesting challenges. Leadership is good at aligning peoples interests and kills with problems and then letting them run with the solution and implementation. The product management folks I work with are great at what they do. They know the product, what we need to do next and how to help engineering get there. Flex schedules are a real thing. People work from home and/or work schedules that fit their life so long as they are available in the office or online during core hours for collaboration. Pay isn't as competitive as some other large tech companies, but the trade off is that you work with an engineering team where you know everyone. There's a lot to be said for that, especially when it comes time to get things done quickly Aside from being good at the core things that I value at an employer, there are are nice perks you would find at a startup. Free food and beverages, donuts and bagels on Friday, beer on tap, very nice facilities with great collaboration spaces, scooters, team outings, etc.

Cons

Very high work tempo from time-to-time can get you a little burned out, but that's true for any companies doing great things. 401K match would be nice IPO has been on the horizon for years Some places in engineering, PMO is imposed and it doesn't always work.

It is great to hear that a engineering veteran like yourself (5 years -- way to go!). Hear you about 401K matching and IPO but I think we are in a very different spot than we were 3 years ago and with Dan at the helm. Hoping that you will find the right forum to suggest how to improve PMO. We need to nail that.

Pros

I am a remote employee 3000 miles away from the Corporate HQs but still feel like a part of the team. They do a great job with enablement and keeping even remote staff involved. I love working for an organization where they provide ample opportunity (i.e. 2 VTO days) to get out in my community and volunteer and even provide an amazing employee match program for contributions to my favorite charities. Their recent addition of 6 mo maternity leave is fantastic. The leadership here is excellent and I feel like I am in wonderful hands with the direction of where we are going. I also feel like they have a very strong work life balance culture here, which is very important to me. It makes me WANT to give back to the company even more -works out very well.

Cons

No 401K match. Not as easy as I would like to refer great candidates to the organization.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. Glad you are happy especially as a remote employee. By the way, you have 3 VTO days (including global impact day) and we have a new parental policies (not just mommies!). Most pre-IPO companies don't have matching 401Ks so we are at benchmark. However the good news is that it seems Dan has signaled that this will be possible post-IPO.

Pros

Admittedly, I've been with the organization for under a year however DocuSign is the only company I've worked for that seems to truly craft an innovative strategy while putting their employees first. They offer a great work life balance, good growth opportunities, strong benefits, and awesome team members to collaborate with. Also, I find great satisfaction working a company that changes the way people interact and do business. It's hard to go back to thinking about printing loads of paper to throw a signature on it.

Cons

One of the downsides to date is there is no 401k match which is a benefit that I've come to expect.

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. Glad to hear you are happy here and finding & great satisfaction;. 401K match -- Dan has been pretty clear that this will be top of the list post IPO. So let's keep focused and nail that!
