Pros

Selling a disruptive technology and being the market leaders is amazing fun! Incredible market opportunity with relatively untapped potential. Greenfield opportunities everywhere with most large corporate organizations having yet to move to straight through processing. Paper processes are dying and DocuSign is in the perfect position to capture the business that results from converting over. Solutions have a very real and quantifiable ROI which makes building a business case for conversion relatively simple. Filled with highly capable individuals and brings constant opportunities for professional development. Intense environment that demands a lot but certainly rewards the effort!

Cons

Hyper growth brings growing pains. Still working out the processes that will allow the business to scale effectively. Investments are being made actively to help with these growing pains but there is still a lot of opportunity to accelerate this. Seems to be a lot of investment in executive leadership but not enough focus on bringing in more people to help execute. Definitely room for more front line team members to help plow through the growing opportunity and workload.

Points well taken. Hope that you have seen the company address some of these in the two years since you wrote this review.

Pros

The energy of the company is tremendous and very impressive. There are a lot of very passionate people that work here. The direction of the company is just as good. Being the market leader is an awesome place to be. The team I get to work on is a very fun bunch that loves their jobs and loves to create qualify software solutions. There are a ton of enticing projects to work on. And, the view from the current Seattle office is likely unmatched!

Cons

Like any company with a (relatively) small technology staff, there is lots to do. Like any company, miskes are made. The measure of that company is how you deal with the mistake and if you repeat the mistake down the road.

Thank you. Agree with all your pros. Regarding the point about mistakes, our Founder Tom Gonser says that mistakes and learning certain things don't work are as valuable as getting things right because mistakes help us narrow the field and get us closer to the winning answer. Hopefully you have seen us perfect this approach of Fail Fast and iteration. We have also improved some of our benefits.

Pros

It has been the most rewarding experience working at DocuSign because of my manager, team, and overall work environment. I not only feel supported, but also valued, as being a member of my sales team. Everyday there is something new to expect and it only gets better as we grow and scale.

Cons

As we grow so quickly we need to put more process in place, but I would take fast growth and worry about process later!
