Pros

The rest of the organization still are humane and have their hearts in the right place. Free food is good but not if you’re choking on it from daily tears.

Cons

*its who you know not what your skills are *treats loyal employees like dirt *no career help, promoting or training *pay raise and bonuses are a joke *micromanagement hell *too many directors that don’t belong in their roles *brown nosers *lack of diversity and culture *no real budgets to improve the lack of efficiency

This was a difficult review to read. Based on the title of your review, I have sent this review to Scott Olrich (CMO), Juliette Aguilera (HR Business Partner for Marketing) and Joan Burke (Chief People Officer) so they are aware of it. Separately, I'd encourage you to reach out to Juliette. She is a terrific person on the HR team and can help. I confer with her myself and trust her. She is good peeps. If you are not in marketing, please send me a confidential note (Ann Poletti) and tell me which department you are in so I can loop in the right Executive Staff member. Thank you.

Pros

The product is strong, the benefits are excellent.

Cons

Lack of vision. Lack of inspiration. Lack of cohesiveness/communication between departments, (despite a change in C suite leadership to address - it has gotten worse with duplicative or often counterintuitive work), consistent talk of focusing on vital initiatives (with no direction as to what those are), lack of career opportunities for new sales professionals, exacerbated by the drastic reduction of SMB AE roles, MDR roles, SDR roles, PDR roles, and the focus on “self serve by customers”. It takes a highly unorganized organization to increase salaries of hundreds, including some via promotion, only to layoff that group a mere 2 weeks later. Many excellent people were let go and for all the talk of “exploring all options to avoid further layoffs” more C suite leadership was added, no discussion of salary reductions or role changes were had. This company is in a free fall of cost cutting to preserve itself but has come at the cost countless talent, culture, and opportunity that made it the destination that it was from 2015-2021. If you are interested in developing your career - avoid DocuSign for now.
