Things have improved on the Corporate level but still SSDD at Terminals.

Pros

The pay has vastly improved and the partnership with Hammel Companies has really started to improve with newer equipment and improving on policies, processes and more of an emphasis on safety. The Dohrn family has really sacrificed to make things right with long term employees.

Cons

It's difficult especially at RKF to work on image and improve employee morale with the same people in place during the transition that have been running the show for the last several years that have fueled the divisiveness and instigation in the past. I respect our management but this aspect of improving things has been thus far overlooked. Benefits could be better. Advancement opportunities limited to a select few.

They have a fairly competitive pay scale now. Most of the people are pretty good to work with.

Cons

They have old equipment and don't maintain it very well. The management is poor and have no communication with the employees. Safety department is a joke as well as human resources. They don't respond to phone calls or emails. Very poor treatment of employees overall.
