Pros

Great technology, smart people, off-Fridays

Cons

No work life balance with management having no regard for weekends, vacation or Even sick leave. Negative, demotivating environment which appears to reward mediocrity and stifles creativity. Domineering self appointed CMO who does not have a clue about marketing and a woefully inexperienced leadership team who make one bad decision after another.

Pros

There are some truly talented people here, and the technology is amazing. There's lots of cash in the bank, and passion around the industry we participate. Creating entertainment products and technologies is great.

Cons

Most of the internal promotion is the same inexperienced leadership that keeps trying the same things, expecting different results. Dolby is bleeding the talented employees that want to make a difference, but just can't get traction with the executives.
