Gained hands-on experience with access provisioning and de-provisioning. Supportive team willing to answer questions and provide mentorship. Exposure to Active Directory, IAM ticketing systems, and onboarding processes. Good work-life balance and predictable work hours. Opportunity to learn about regulatory compliance (SOX, GLBA). Clear documentation and standard operating procedures in place.

Cons

Limited advancement opportunities within the IAM team. Tools and systems felt outdated at times, slowing down workflows. Some manual processes that could benefit from automation. Training could be more structured for new hires. Not much cross-team collaboration outside of immediate IT functions.
