The single most inept, dysfunctional, self-defeating, and self-destructive organization I've worked for anywhere.

Pros

It's next to impossible to be fired from this organization. Many of the people are quite nice and some of them are even relatively competent.

Cons

DDS is basically a holding company run by accountants who want so desperately for their company to be a "technology company." Unfortunately, their processes are rudimentary and they lack any sort of software company expertise in upper management. They see software developers like printing press workers, which is why they never offer more than a 2% annual raise and why they think that $80K is an appropriate salary for a senior Microsoft .Net engineer with fifteen years experience.

Pros

Not many to mention except I have a product i get to give away so no selling needed

Cons

Can not sell the product. The only way a dealership will sign up is if you give it away or not be truthful of the functions. We are constantly reducing the price so low it is crazy just to say we have another account. So Dealers if you are reading this, know that you can get it for less than half!! So many good people are gone and they need to get them back, well they probably moved on to better things. You ruin your own reputation by working here by having to give things away and not have any support. I wouldnt be surprised if the only people that stay are the older employees who cant find another job or their reputation is damaged from working there.

Pros

Awesome leadership! Jill Whitehead has turned the group around and has made a huge difference. Teams are focused, direction is clear, goals are realistic and attainable. New blood and leadership has been infused into the organization and new opportunities and market penetration is happening. It an exciting time to be on board-real opportunities to create and produce innovative best-in-class digital products and solutions.

Cons

Not a lot to speak of. Leadership is now focused and driven, Work environment is awesome-Benefits are good. Experiencing some growing pains that come along with change and transition, but that's to be expected.
