Good in hospitality

Pros

Well recognised company in the hospitality industry. Not bad benefits for a long time employees

Cons

casualisation of contracts. Too many managers. Team leaders can run the business on their own. You can work to death and no one would bother. Poor salaries compared to the number of duties

Thank you for your feedback. We tend to agree with you in regards to the hotels - they are nice establishments (and friendly too!) - and give you the opportunity to work alongside and learn from people from all different backgrounds. One of the best things about hospitality in our opinion. As we are open 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, shifts are a way of life. We do our best to make sure hours are fair and that those who do offer to stay behind on busy days are rewarded for this. We regularly benchmark our pay against other hotels, restaurants and bars and are proud that every time we come out near the top. The benefits are also pretty good, some of which are unique to The Doyle Collection. Thanks again for taking the time to log in and review us.
