Pros

The integration of various products is interesting, including the business areas, which would provide one with opportunities to gain experience on various technical areas. However, you'll ultimately learn how 'not' to do things, rather than learning best practices.

Cons

Management/leads are unable to accept new ideas for driving efficiency into development and testing. If it was 2008, the toolset would be fine, however the technical management folks aren't willing to adopt tools they're not familiar with, this burdens the engineers to leverage old technical dogma. As stated in other 'real' posts, be cautious with HR, they're very close to the very management that you'll one day complain about ;)

Our AZ office unfortunately does not have hot water. We do, however, offer hot filtered water for our employees. For our sales teams we do hold them to standard that requires meeting revenue goals. We give extensive product training, and a long ramp up period with reasonable goals to achieve. We also try to mentor employees on how they can achieve the goals. Unfortunately, not every employee is able to meet our standards. We look for sales consultants who are proactive, enjoy a fast paced environment, works well in a metrics driven position, flexibility, not adverse to change, team oriented, and solutions oriented rather than dwell on issues. We have not achieved exponential growth over the last few years without setting goals and expectations.
