Pros

Only pro might be their contribution to retirement plans.

Cons

Low starting salary and they will get rid of you in a second. No warning or notice. Stay away! They don’t invest in their employees and most leadership are very selfish.

Working at Duke

Pros

The pros is that many are incompetent, this happens when you are transitioning from On premise to the Cloud and you use a few qualified solutions architect and Business Analysis that worked on Prem as you do not want to lay them off to become solutions architect with little or no training, makes one look good. Great please to start with your cloud career as you will be working with fellow architects with little or no useful Cloud skills

Cons

There is a lot of good ole boys and girls club, Contractors are treated like step children and the few good ones are over worked while the ones in the good ole boys club just hang around and make noise at meetings.
