The individuals you can work with are great, there are many days where you can leave your job feeling like you've actually accomplished something for the greater good, good scheduling if you can keep in contact, tons of opportunities for overtime

Cons

Some practices by upper management are borderline illegal if not illegal When they tell you that the most that they will hold you without a break is 16 hours, that is a lie (personally have been stuck for 23.5 hours without a break) Upper management will not reassign you if you have been attacked by clients Many lazy co workers Many upper management people are covering for each other so they avoid punishment for breaking policy

We request that you contact the IN HR department and/or submit a grievance regarding any concerning practices. We recognize that it is important to effectively partner staff with the people we support and because not everyone is a match for each location, we attempt to honor requests for transfer.

Great coworkers, and great clients that cheer up your day. A great way to help someone's life. Very limited interactions with supervisors

Cons

Many house leads and supervisors are power hungry and make the job more difficult than it should be. The supervisors don't communicate very well with staff, and it feels like staff have to do everything on their own. Do not work here! They hire almost anybody, and their pay is not competitive at all. No opportunity for raises!
