Pros

Love my co workers and clients. In my house we do have enough food and lots of cleaning supplies and things that work (saw another person say they didn't have anything).

Cons

Don't even know where to begin. The upper management does not care about the Direct Support Staff. Whenever we have problems they never listen. When you want to talk to your PD they never get back to you either. Along with management being horrible they don't pay enough. Sure it might look like a lot but when you have to deal with management cutting out all the float staff so you are running around trying to get stuff done, it's definitely not. Also with the amount of behaviors we deal with. Another thing going with management cutting everyone's hours and then not giving them back is that so many people quit that we are so understaffed that people are working crazy amount of people that you basically live there. The management does not care if you have children and think you should be working overnights even if you are a single parent.

Pros

It is people focused, they provide great care to the people in services with them. I would recommend working for this company.

Cons

I really have nothing as far as a con is concerned to say about this company. I am enjoying the time i am here.

Pros

The company cares about it's employees and they don't have you working with more than 1 client if your client is 1 on 1. Being on call means you work whatever hours you want that are open to fill. In office training is helpful if you are new to the field.

Cons

Sometimes there are too many hours and you feel obligated to work more than you want and can become worn out. This company has poor communication, there is little detail given to what you are supposed to do and where to take clients. They expect you to know all the house rules and clients normal routines when it's impossible to know someone until you've worked with them a while.
