Pros

Good, talented, friendly and happy people to work with; Great leadership of CEO; Great mentorship from senior developers and architects; Free food and drinks at all times; Flexible hours Good location for young professionals; Helps with H1b, Green Card processing for qualified non resident aliens.

Cons

No place is perfect, and EAI Technologies is no exception. There are not much options for recreational activities inside the office. Office building has no gym. There are, however, gyms for paid members nearby the office location.

Pros

I've been at EAI for less than a year, but I really feel like I've found the perfect job. V is a GREAT boss, and I really enjoy the work that I do. Coworkers are very nice too - there is a strong sense of community & I've yet to experience any issues in working with anyone. I was attracted to the job because one of the qualifications was being a quick learner - I had worked full time while in college, and had not been able to take an internship or work in my field of study. The training I received during my first few months at the company really helped me to feel comfortable in my new role, and I feel like I learned more during that time than in many of my college classes. By the time I was assigned to a project, I really felt like I knew what I was doing, and all doubts I had about being qualified for my job vanished. Benefits are great - our health insurance plan covers nearly everything, and we have a 401k with EAI matching our monthly contributions up to 6% of our salary. Mental health is valued, and V makes sure to check in on us if he knows we're having a rough time. Work environment is inclusive and diverse. I am both a women and a member of the LGBT community, and at no point have I felt unsafe or uncomfortable working here. The company is open and upfront about their stances on social issues (just look at the logo!), much more so than many other companies are willing to be.

Cons

Not a lot of women, especially in dev, but more and more are getting hired. Definitely not a "boys' club".

Pros

The EAI family of employees are great and something you won't find in other places. The mentorship and best practices style development is wonderful for a junior developer. Senior tech leads are very personable and do well with teaching, something that is difficult to find. Work life balance can be very good, though it is somewhat dependent on client/project.

Cons

Compensation is below market rate which can be particularly impactful to employees in their first job. Structure/HR policy is minimal which can cause issues. New employees are likely to be siloed in the direction of rapid prototype projects or longterm large client projects, this can be hard to break out of and limits developers. There aren't great opportunities to design/architect projects unless you are a hired at a more senior level, can be detrimental to newbies if they stay too long.
