Pros

Your collegues. The people working at EF are truly interesting, genuine and fun people. The non-hierarchy, everyone are treated the same. A very flexible company.

Cons

Salary is worse than for similar jobs. It's diffcult to change your position. Available positions are often not announced internally.

Great Program - Bad Management

Pros

Ef has a good education system for adult ESL students. It is somewhat flexible and promotes great relationiships with the students.

Cons

EF can be somewhat contridictory in what they expect from their teachers. They provide very structured classes and then complain because you presented the material as it was provided. You are expected to be creative without changing things.... They pay people to develope the materials and then expect the teacher's to "re-work" the material because it doesn't really meet the neeeds of the students. In the mean time - the students don't really care. Most of them just want to enjoy themselves and hopefully learn English at the same time.

Pros

Good company to get sales experience with a well known company. Great work life balance. Provides Friendly and open work environment.

Cons

The base salary isn't very competitive compared to other jobs in the industry and no commissions only bonuses. Hours can be long for cold calling.
