      Pros

      A stable, family-owned business. Your voice matters here. The ownership and management recognize that employees are the greatest resource this company has for success and so everyone has an opportunity to participate, get training where needed, challenge themselves, grow, advance and help shape the future of the company.

      Cons

      Some compensation is tied to profitability. This can actually be quite a "pro," but in leaner times, it might not seem so.

      Pros

      Family run business managed for long term success, not quarterly earnings. Management truly treats employees with respect. Lots of employees retire from Ellwood. It's a place you can build a career, not just hold a job. Not many people get to work somewhere where you are building essential components of everyday life, for applications like transportation, aerospace, and energy. It's extremely rewarding to see a car or plane or ship and think that your hard work is making it possible!

      Cons

      Ellwood runs very lean. If you don't have an entrepreneurial approach to work you may find this environment taxing.
