      Pros

      Great benefits and great pay for someone with little experience. Great managers willing to help you get to where you want. Can come up with ideas and see them come to life. Company is decentralized.

      Cons

      No career development path. Hard to move around. There are a lot of people who have been at the company for 20+ years and are stuck in their old ways. Not willing to change.

      Stable job security. Good benefits and opportunities for growth

      Cons

      Although there are opportunities for growth, there are not a lot of opportunities for career development or promotions unless someone else leaves the company and they need someone to fill the role. Politics, politics, politics. You need to be friends with the supervisor in order to advance in your career. No work from home opportunities. They want you in the office full-time. Work is constantly changing and management will give you more work without significant raises or promotions. Some people do most of the work while others skate by.

      In this current downturn this is a very negative place to work. Always worrying if you are going to be the next one chopped. Cutthroat people low paying as well.
