Pros
Consulting firm with a bench to help in between contracts. When on the bench, you are still a full-time paid employee with benefits. Good support system from the administrative staff.
Cons
Expectations for continuous certifications, which is fine, but not possible to learn and gain new certifications when working 50 hours a week on a client contract. Automatic layoff if you are not placed on a contract within 60 days - no consideration for length of service, qualifications, client satisfaction.
