Incompetent Leadership, Selfish Staff

Pros

Students are the bright spot

Cons

Long hours with low compensation and poor benefits. EHTP is closed for several weeks throughout the year, but doesn't offer enough sick time or vacation time beyond that. Leadership is incompetent. They don't have a vision or a strategy beyond getting through the day. They don't talk to staff. The focus is always on appearances instead of transparency. HR is completely unresponsive to staff concerns or needs. I do not recommend EHTP as a workplace or a school.

Many Good Things Happening Here

Pros

Pay equity and transparency. Folks here genuinely care for students, family, and the community. Family here has more say in hiring decisions for leadership roles. There's a culture of feedback that I appreciate as I grow.

Cons

It's not as organized as it could be. At times, it feels like a startup in terms of the lack of systems and structures. I'd also love more consistency with staff, especially leadership.
