Pros

Good area to raise a family. Okay starting pay. Lots of good people - easy to develop some great friendships. Lots of talented people.

Cons

While there’s lots of talented and smart people in management, it feels like more of an old culture where they are to be feared rather than seen as leaders there to help you grow and knock down roadblocks. There’s absolutely no reason knowledge workers should be required to work onsite. Most of those knowledge workers should have no real dress code. Career progression seems to be based on who likes you and how long you’ve been there.

Pros

East Tennessee is a beautiful part of the country with some of the best people in the world. I love the rolling hills and rivers and lakes and outdoors in this area.

Cons

Second round of cutbacks demoralize an already over worked group. I don't feel confident that I'll have a job in the future and this brings out unnecessary stress and frustration.

Pros

Great training programs but not everyone is allowed to have training to improve a skill set. Gives back to the community.

Cons

Management team in NA with direct reports consists of males in authority making all decisions. It appears this is done on purpose and there are 10 managers in Logistics with reports and all are male. Somehow woman aren't qualified to supervise teams anymore. Management tends to focus on how to make themselves look good and will make decisions without knowing how it will impact their employees or the company. No respect to anyone but expect more out of planners. But there is no reward offered to them for going the extra mile. Management just adds more to each planner and is ok if planners work 12-14 hrs per day.
