Pros

The culture here is unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. Management shows the same level of compassion and consideration to employees that all of us were expected to show the kids we worked with. It’s the thing I miss the most about working here.

Cons

Constantly having to write reports. I hated writing reports.

I had a great experience at Eckerd Connect. I loved the work I did, felt supported by my managers and colleagues, and created life-long connections with the kids I helped. It was an all-around wonderful experience that I still look back on with fondness.

Cons

It’s hard to find a healthy work/life balance. I have an insane amount of respect for all of my old coworkers. They are some of the most compassionate, selfless people I’ve ever met.

It’s easy to build a strong comradery with coworkers. The philosophy of the program is excellent. A purposeful and fulfilling job. Everything you do makes it seem like you’re making a difference in someone’s life. Your hard work rarely goes unnoticed by your coworkers and managers.

Cons

Fun, but very demanding of your time and energy. Know what you’re getting into before signing up.
