I love working with the kids. Eckerd does a great job of preparing us for our roles and giving us all the tools and support we need to help each kid as much as possible.

Cons

The pay isn’t phenomenal. But I didn’t expect it to be. That’s just the trade-off you make when you want to do good in this world.

I loved working at Eckerd! It’s very well-organized and offers a generous benefit package (vision, health and dental amongst other perks). Employees are valued for what they contribute to the team. It would be an understatement to say that our work is just “important”. We’re literally playing an integral role in the path these kids will be taking as they grow older. It’s an awesome responsibility that I was more than happy to take on.

Cons

I never had any problems while working at Eckerd.

Pros

Diversity at its finest. We have people of all different shades, ethnicities, colors, backgrounds, and races in the office. It’s great to see a company be so intentional with their hiring picks and going out of their way to get a diverse set of perspectives and ideas!

Cons

I saw someone wrote on here that “if you’re Caucasian seek employment elsewhere” and I don’t know whether to laugh or scream. The fact that some white people still think racism affects them in any way blows my mind.
