Pros

A good company to work for. As the title implies there are always change with a start-up and sometimes turnover creates perceived issues. The reality is that this company has a great product and pays well enough to deal with any issues that arise.

Cons

All companies have issues and this one is no different. A little top heavy and that creates a lot of change, hold on as this is a ride.

Pros

Excellent new VP Sales and VP Channels and outstanding, experienced Security analysts and professionals who have joined the team

Cons

Highly competitive marketplace when EdgeWave is trying to reinvent itself. Needs to bolster field based presence in both direct and channel sales

Absolute Terrible Management Team and CEO

Pros

Some of the more tenured employees are great, hard working people to work with. The location is also great- convenient to everything for errands during lunch or after work.

Cons

Dave Maquera was hired as CEO in the 2012/13 time frame and has made one bad decision after another. Lou Ryan the Chairman of the Board and prior CEO is "checked out" and just wants to sell the company for 5 or 10 times what it's worth as he's the largest share holder. Upper management (VP and SVP levels) turned over many times within months. And SVP of Sales was hired (not the current one) that was harassing, violent tempered, intimidating, and even had a criminal record and wore a house arrest ankle bracelet, yet Dave turned a blind eye to all of this. Upper management is atrocious and went from Public back to Private just to have less to answer to with the SEC. They claimed they had money in the bank that was actually a credit line from Silicon Valley Bank. How they continue to get VC is beyond me.
