The buildings I worked in were memory care/ assisted living, yet we had about 4 people who were two person assist and should of been in a nursing home! Working with them wasn't bad, yet it was frustrating having to ask for another person to help when they were busy with their own work and put them behind. Then the scheduler has absolutely no idea what she was doing! They would schedule people for 16 hour days multiple times without asking.. it's not anyone's fault but theirs that they were short staffed. The main reason they were short staffed is because the workers in memory care! 90% of them are so incredibly rude and bossy, and would make the float do everything while they just sat around and gossiped. They drive all the new hires away, and that makes everyone else more stressed.
