Pros

They pay decently well. Thats it.

Cons

I was hired to be a technician in the Omaha area with no more than 25% travel to be expected. In my tenure there, I worked less 5% of the time in the Omaha area. They would lie, misinform, and purposefully keep me in dark about what I was doing, where I would be going and everything in between. When I asked to stay closer to that 25% travel, I was told verbatim that I had "no future with the company". That is when I started job searching. Terrible culture that divides the upper management and office from the technicians. They purposely would not inform you on a poorly sold and engineered job so that when you have issues, it is the technicians fault for why it did not come under budget. This was a common occurrence. They would say that we are family but in reality, it was only to use you for information and find ways to exploit your time.

Pros

Excellent opportunity to get your foot in the door of commercial A/V and low voltage electronics

Cons

Any office away from the main branch in Lincoln Nebraska will be very micro-managed
