Pros

Worked with a very competitive and strong sales team which motivated me to push myself harder. What you could sell you would see a return on financially which was a huge motivator.

Cons

Not much room for growth in the location I was housed. Communication was difficult at times. A lot of change with my position over the two and a half years I was there.

Pros

Element is one of the better companies I've worked for, with a mostly fair and knowledgeable management team and a decent ethos. There is no pettiness and if you work hard and achieve your objectives you will be treated well. I find the salary and bonuses to be reasonable. Most of my colleagues are good people, who aren't all out for themselves, and I've made some good friends here.

Cons

To truly live up to its mantra of being the biggest and most trusted lab in the world, Element needs to adjust its approach to its employees. Employees aren't treated unfairly, but Element does not go the extra mile for them. The truly successful big companies, such as Google and Apple, have a much more relaxed and liberal workplace, with many more perks, and this is the sort of approach that Element needs to adopt to be ranked among them.

There used to be pros working here, but they always make a plan to work towards advancement and then nothing ever happens because of short staff.

Cons

Management, lies, always having the "numbers" be more important then the employee.
