Pros

Opportunity to work with a lot of great talent

Cons

- Morally bankrupt Executive team - The only humanity Elevance actually cares about is the executive team and board of directors. - Constant lay-offs and reorganizations while Sr. Leaders who are responsible for the strategic direction and issues get more compensation and promotions. - Employees are literally seen as bodies. Executives make statements that most positions can and will be replaced with AI, except their roles. - Fear tactics are used to keep those who survive the latest layoff “in-line” and willing to take on more work in hopes of not being let go.

Pros

The pay is excellent. I think. The learning opportunities are good as well.

Cons

RTO ( return to office) is not a positive at all. I like so many others out here and that I work with, were hired as a remote workers . I even saved my email confirming that my position was a remote one. My current one as well. As stated by several others there was a push pre COVID to do this. The claim of collaboration is nonsensical. I collaborate with people all the country on a daily basis.I personally don’t go to work make friends, I work to support my family. The idea that being face to face increases productivity is unfounded. We are not on an assembly line. My team is not even in my state. I have the expectation that the one’ s in sr leadership pushing this are more than willing to drive away talented people for the sake of not letting go their archaic and draconian management ideas. It’s no secret that the desire of management is to create a Borg like workforce, they push “corporate culture” and have catch phrases of mentoring and collaboration but reading between the lines one can only infer that a smaller lockstep work force is their desire.
