      Good to teach US students online

      Pros

      I used to teach students in China but now I am teaching students here in the US. I teach when I am at home and the students are in school. This is a great way to work and teach. The team at Elevate K12 is very supportive and attentive. I am teaching a whole class and the technology is very interactive and almost feels like I am in the class with the students. I teach students who didn’t have a teacher in the class before me so it feels great to be able to support our own students. The content and projects available to teachers is very well written.

      Cons

      The students sometimes have behavior issues but we get support to help with that.

      Pros

      I love that Elevate K-12 is a women focused company. A supportive, high energy environment is very prevalent in most people (who are women) that I have worked with.

      Cons

      I wish they were based in Omaha so I could work in an office.

      Pros

      - Excellent work environment - Good support from company - Math Content is provided and is very well written. There are many brain breaks and fun things for students to do - Tech support and manager are always there to help - Work from home - I got 5 hours per day of teaching which was helpful - I like the way feedback is taken and then they change things quickly to improve

      Cons

      - Need to celebrate more with kid - I don’t get freedom to change content
