Pros

I have been working here for the last one year and Elevate K-12 is on a path that no one has ever been on. The company faces challenges as it scales and disrupts how we teach students but I have never seen it fall. People here have tremendous stoicism and the team-work and collaboration are remarkable. Performance on outcomes is very very important here,

Cons

Not sure if it’s a con but the company thinks 3-4 years ahead of its time. It puts pressure on team members to think and disrupt aggressively. Works for some doesn’t for others. Ask questions during interview phase about the hard working hours to ensure it is for you.

Pros

At Elevate K-12, amazing leadership and teamwork has created a culture that inspires. It's a place where everyone is respected for their contribution and ethics lead the way. Collaboration between colleagues is the norm, and a desire to constantly learn and grow is behind every action. I'm grateful to be a part of the Elevate K-12 family.

Cons

Being a member of Elevate requires constant adaptability. Things move at break-neck speeds, work hours are long which might not be for everyone.

Pros

Flexible Hours. Reasonable pay. No commute - you work from home. Opportunities to advance your position and increase pay. The hours you get are determined by your availability and how well you tutor. Tutors have a supervisor (APM) to help with any issues they may encounter. A great job for stay at home parents, military spouses who constantly relocate, or anyone who would rather work from their couch in sweatpants with a cup of coffee in hand. For the other reviews who are saying they are having trouble contacting parents...they have the wrong company. Elevate K12 has no contact with parents. This is a program students do online during the school day.

Cons

Sometimes tutoring sessions are canceled last minute by the schools - however that is not the company's fault. Anyone who has ever gone to school and/or worked at a school knows that assemblies and emergency closings can occur without much notice.
