Great Work Culture

Pros

Elevate K-12 has opened up career opportunities to me that I never knew existed as a former teacher. The culture matches my personal beliefs and vision as an educator. It gives teachers who live in areas where jobs are scarce, the perfect opportunity to impact student learning around the nation. The way that they are slowly changing education and helping students is truly inspirational.

Cons

This is more of an observation rather than a con but our team works extremely hard. Reforming education and truly making a difference does not come easy so we all have to have great work ethic, patience, and flexibility. Some may view this is a con, but I view it as passion and dedication to a great cause.

Pros

Remote work from home job.

Cons

Company leadership is disconnected from what it actually takes to run the operation. When voices speak up to resolve very preventable fundamental issues it either takes too long to implement any real change, or leadership doesn’t take it seriously. The company leans on toxic positivity and would rather say everything is fine and everyone is happy than to actually work on making anything better.

We’re glad you recognize the flexibility that our remote work opportunities provide, which is one of the key benefits we strive to offer at Elevate K-12. Decisions and changes often require careful consideration to ensure they align with company goals and operational needs. While it may take time to implement certain changes, this is done with the intent of making thoughtful, sustainable improvements rather than reacting prematurely. We aim to foster a positive and encouraging workplace culture while balancing the need to address challenges head-on. Maintaining optimism is part of creating a motivating environment, but it does not mean we dismiss issues brought to our attention. Elevate K-12 strongly values employee input and we remain committed to continuous growth.

We are glad you were able to appreciate the flexibility and ability to teach on your terms while at Elevate! We acknowledge that tech issues with the teaching platform are possible and can vary on a wide variety of factors, including things that are sometimes out of our control. However, we feel that the support we offer effectively meets the needs of our teachers; tech support is generally praised by teachers themselves in our surveys as one of the highest areas of satisfaction. We take your comments about dishonesty seriously and encourage you to reach out to us if you have specific examples to share, as we are committed to maintaining integrity in our operations and strive to prioritize both teachers and the students we serve.
