Pros
Started off as a great place to work (great people, great products, respect for employees) when it was a division of Tyco Electronics. Good pay, good benefits, GREAT people (friendly, courteous, helpful and respectful of one another) - almost an extended family atmosphere.
Cons
TE decided to divest the company to a private equity firm. The transition was extremely rough, and by the time it was complete, they had lost over 25% of the original employees (some against their will, many more of their own will). Respect (of any kind whatsoever) for the employee was out the window, and performance ratings became a popularity contest (you HAD to be a "yes" man or forget it), and all of the management and even upper level employees soon became a "good 'ol boys club"; the only way to get hired was to be a friend or family of the new leadership, and if you weren't, or weren't in the inner circle of one of them, you were likely on your way out the door to be replaced by someone who was, regardless of your skills or contributions.
