Pros

There are none that I can think of. There are some decent people here, but the environment is caustic and other managers will stab you in the back to save their hide. Executive Management does not have a handle on the environment, all they care about is saving a sinking ship.

Cons

Just google EmblemHealth in the public media. Their clients are miserable and leaving in droves and the majority of the claims are paid incorrectly. They can't even get a handle on which doctors are in their network. There are intentional 0 or 1 stars as some responses ans 0 was not an option

...pretty soon most people will be "working" from home one way or another.

Cons

Health insurance at a health insurance company is worse than being under the ACA aka Obamacare. Management is pilfering the last gold on the sinking ship but expects you to do more so they can give themselves bonuses...dont worry you too can get a bonus(1k) if your managers put in the paperwork and upper management approvea. Word of advice...unless you are being hired for director and above (*probably AVP and above*) dont waste your time...even HealthFirst is better now.

Pros

Some good people, at least the ones not stabbing you in the back or throwing you under the bus.

Cons

This place is the worst i've seen in 20 years. All the good VP's , Directors, etc. (the ones who knew what was going on) are gone and were pushed out by new management who are poorly versed in Health Care and have no clue. This company i a sinking ship grab your life preserves and get out while you can, I'm out in next month thank god the nightmare is almost over.
