Laid back and flexible work schedule Good benefits with average salary

Cons

Very little direction from management Too much water cooler talk and politics in the office. Poor work culture with little to no transparency Too many lazy and incompetent staff due to lack of oversight Merit base bonuses and performance reviews are a sham.. extremely hard working coworker got the same performance review as the laziest person in the department. What a joke. High turnaround on staff with talent due to the above reasons.

Was a really good company that I was proud to work for but since the merger the company has become indifferent to its employees. Bonus was reduced in 2013, and none was given last year and none expected this year

Cons

Rumors of layoffs are high and senior management is silent. This company is never going to make it, get out while you can.

Pros

Low-stress environment promotes brain numbing. Senior management is hands-off to the point of being invisible. The two Manhattan locations are relatively close to mass transit.

Cons

Salary lags marketplace. Benefits are sadly not comparable to marketplace considering the company is in health insurance. Management refuses to acknowledge that the company is in serious financial trouble.
