Wow..... a once strong company is now slowly being brought to its knees
Pros
The company has good PTO, pension and 401K contribution The company provides classes to advance your career (i.e. Microsoft Excel, Access, Word, Leadership etc.)
Cons
- It has been a fire sale in terms of the numbers of people that have been laid off by the company since last year. - Leadership in some areas do not truly recognize the talent that they have until it leaves the company. If you aren't in the Senior Directors's "inner circle", then they will work hard to ensure that you don't get advancement. - HR is slow to respond to job postings. - Poor decisions by Senior Leadership have placed the company in the predicament that it is in. The new CEO is laying off people who have worked hard at their jobs for years, yet is retaining those individuals that made poor financial decisions for the company.
