As an early interventionist, you get some freedom over your schedule and you're not tied down in one spot all the time. Plus, I really liked most of the families that I visited.
Cons
*Very little training. *Not really clear directions. Direct questions won't be answered in an email, which is a red flag. *Since the position that I had was done working independently, I didn't have a chance to ask other colleagues questions. I only had the immediate supervisor to talk to. Since she worked full time with her caseload, I felt that I didn't really get help or training that I needed to be successful.
