Pros

You can enjoy the a/c during the summer and stay warm during the winter time. You can drink water and costo kcup coffee for free.

Cons

People either get fired or resign at least 3-5 times a month. Insane turnover. The owner screams and yells everyday. The owner watches security cameras 24/7 even if he’s on his vacation because the owner doesn’t trust his workers. Your work laptop is being monitored. They will come up with any reason to fire you. No HR department. But there is a person who checks attendance every morning and afternoon to report to the owner. She can come in and leave anytime she wants but if anyone else is late or leaves early she will give you a warning and you need to cover your missing hours even though nobody is getting paid hourly. You need to request a day off four months in advance. No management to ask for support or advice because nobody stays here. 85% people who work here are in their 20s. If you get covid and need to WFH the owner gets livid because he doesn’t believe in working remotely.

Pros

The only real positive about working here is the coworkers. Most people are genuinely nice, supportive, and doing their best in a very chaotic environment.

Cons

This company has little to no structure. There is no real HR department, the same person handling payroll is also considered HR, which creates obvious issues and lack of support for employees. The PTO and sick leave policies are extremely outdated. You have to work 3 months just to earn 1 sick day, and even a simple doctor’s appointment requires using half a PTO day. Employees only receive 6 PTO days total. Management is disorganized and inconsistent. There is no clear hierarchy, accountability, or proper leadership. The CEO changes direction constantly, asks employees to do work far outside their job scope, and regularly texts employees late at night and on weekends with work requests. Raises and year-end bonuses feel heavily based on favoritism rather than performance or merit. If you are not one of the CEO’s favorites, don’t expect meaningful recognition or growth opportunities. Meritocracy does not exist here. The hiring process is also questionable at times, and there are employees placed in roles they are not fully qualified for, which creates additional pressure on others to pick up extra responsibilities outside their own scope. Benefits are weak overall, and the health insurance offered is very expensive for the level of coverage provided.
