Pros

Only pro is the coworkers who have to stick together at this awful place!!!

Cons

This place is terrible god awful!! The owner is insane and the work environment is toxic, the pay is laughable, along with the PTO and holidays given. Do yourself a favor and never apply here there’s a reason why the employee turnover rate is so high…any good review you see are done by management, don’t let them fool you.

Work here if you are desperate

Pros

The only real positive about working here is the coworkers. Most people are genuinely nice, supportive, and doing their best in a very chaotic environment.

Cons

This company has little to no structure. There is no real HR department, the same person handling payroll is also considered HR, which creates obvious issues and lack of support for employees. The PTO and sick leave policies are extremely outdated. You have to work 3 months just to earn 1 sick day, and even a simple doctor’s appointment requires using half a PTO day. Employees only receive 6 PTO days total. Management is disorganized and inconsistent. There is no clear hierarchy, accountability, or proper leadership. The CEO changes direction constantly, asks employees to do work far outside their job scope, and regularly texts employees late at night and on weekends with work requests. Raises and year-end bonuses feel heavily based on favoritism rather than performance or merit. If you are not one of the CEO’s favorites, don’t expect meaningful recognition or growth opportunities. Meritocracy does not exist here. The hiring process is also questionable at times, and there are employees placed in roles they are not fully qualified for, which creates additional pressure on others to pick up extra responsibilities outside their own scope. Benefits are weak overall, and the health insurance offered is very expensive for the level of coverage provided.

Pros

The teams at Reflex work well together and are supportive! As we know, Fashion has crunch times and down times, short days and long days. It is to be expected that there is give and take. There is new leadership at the company which means new opportunities all around as well as a resolution to pervasive issues. The company has benefits comparable to the industry: 401K Match, Healthcare plan, Vision/Dental plan, Summer Fridays, Pizza Fridays, Bagel Wednesdays, PAID lunch break, PAID Holidays, PTO plan, Commuter benefits (pre-tax), Nice espresso machines, among others.

Cons

The PTO plan is accrued and increases every year, but management is evaluating revisions to the policy to be competitive with the industry. PTO is also negotiable at hiring.
