Pros
The pros are non-existent. Just cheap pizza on Fridays, and free bagels from the nicer, younger brother (This company is owned by 3 brothers). Most coworkers are hardworking and quite pleasant. Upper management is atrocious.
Cons
Aggressive CEO: The CEO displays aggressive behavior, bullies the receptionist, and treats employees as personal assistants. Threatening "Jokes": The CEO makes inappropriate "jokes" about harming employees if work isn't completed, creating a hostile work environment. Sketchy Business Practices: The company engages in questionable business practices that may raise ethical concerns, including but not limited to: Sexism, racism, homophobia, fatphobia. Lack of HR Support: There is no dedicated HR department; an accounting person handles HR responsibilities, which contributes to enabling the CEO's abrasive behavior. One of the brothers is a straight up pervert, checking out girls that could be his granddaughter. Questionable Reputation: Even clients or buyers express discomfort when first encountering the toxic CEO, damaging the company's image. Constant Stress: Continuous yelling and shouting creates a stressful work atmosphere, causing rapid aging among employees. Limited Growth Opportunities: There are no opportunities for career advancement; employees are stuck in their roles indefinitely. Ineffective Upper Management: Upper management lacks the skills and patience to effectively teach and motivate their teams. Their qualifications should be re-examined, especially Mood-Dependent Environment: Employee experiences greatly depend on the CEO's mood, leading to inconsistent work environments. Uncompensated Overtime: Despite working long hours beyond the standard workday, there are no overtime pay or additional benefits. Minimal Paid Time Off: The company offers a mere 5 PTO days, limiting opportunities for rest and personal time. Unaffordable Health Insurance: The cost of health insurance is prohibitively high, making it unaffordable for most employees. They give you 5 PTO days. 5. F I V E.
